Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Negombo – Bentota
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Transfer to Bentota (approx. 2 hours).
- Unwind by the beach and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Bentota – Deniyaya – Bentota
- Early departure for Sinharaja Rainforest (approx. 2-hour drive).
- Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, a pristine rainforest rich in endemic flora and fauna.
- Reconnect with nature in one of the world’s last remaining virgin rainforests.
Day 3: Bentota – Udawalawe – Ella
- After breakfast, depart for a Jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park (approx. 2-hour drive).
- Continue to Ella for an overnight stay (approx. 1.5-hour drive).
- Witness Sri Lanka’s magnificent wildlife and enjoy the scenic drive to Ella.
Day 4: Ella – Horton Plains – Kandy
- Early morning visit to Horton Plains, Sri Lanka’s highest plateau, known for its unique biodiversity and the breathtaking “World’s End” cliff.
- Proceed to Kandy for an overnight stay.
- Marvel at sweeping landscapes and enjoy the tranquility of the hills.
Day 5: Kandy – Sigiriya
- Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy after breakfast.
- Head to Sigiriya and climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Explore spiritual and historical landmarks that define Sri Lanka’s heritage.
Day 6: Sigiriya – Minneriya – Sigiriya
- Morning Jeep safari at Minneriya National Park.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a village safari and a Sri Lankan cooking lesson.
- Experience the wildlife and rural charm of Sri Lanka up close.
Day 7: Sigiriya – Anuradhapura
- After breakfast, drive to the ancient city of Anuradhapura (approx. 1.5-hour drive).
- Explore its historical ruins and sacred sites.
- Dive into the ancient history and cultural richness of Sri Lanka.
Day 8: Anuradhapura – Wilpattu – Negombo
- Early morning Jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park (approx. 30-minute drive).
- Transfer to Negombo for an overnight stay (approx. 3.5-hour drive).
- Discover the untouched wilderness and end the day by the coast.
Day 9: Negombo
- Relax on the beach and enjoy the serene coastal atmosphere.
- Soak in the sun and unwind by the tranquil waves.
Day 10: Negombo – Airport
- Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
